Amathus Beach Hotel Paphos is ideally situated to allow you to explore the area and select from an array of outdoor activities. An easy 15-minute stroll from the old harbour, our location allows you to explore the area at your leisure.

BEACHES

The western part of Cyprus is rich with your choice of beaches. Besides the beach on our property, there are several you might consider exploring. North of Kato Paphos is Faros Beach, a sandy beach with some sandstone rock. Further out is Kissonerga Bay. A much quieter beach with banana plantations on its perimeter, it’s ideal for a day of tranquility. Further north still is Coral Bay, the area’s most popular sandy beach.

DIVING

The sea around Paphos is a divers dream. The Amphorae Reef offers a wonderful place to explore, with a ship beached on the reef and its cargo of pottery to discover. Another source for exploration is the Vera K, which sank in the 1970s and now offers divers a destination. There are several diving companies in the area.
